Eden Prairie Gets Local

The Eat Local Eden Prairie Fair was held yesterday at the Eden Prairie Community Center. I believed that if we could get the exhibitors to the fair, the community would come. But would it?

Before we opened the doors at 1 p.m., folks were slipping into the gym — the gym where now farmers, authors, growers and more sat at gingham covered tables, where jams, and breads, and other tasty morsels waited. Hundreds of people came to the Fair!

Eden Prairie was interested in the issues around eating local! And they came to find out more.
